Local Eastbury and Moor Park News – July 2022

Batchworth Community Council [BCC] sponsored a Jubilee cake competition at the excellent Jubilee Celebration Event organised by the ERA in June. A photo of the very worthy winning cake is shown here!

BCC has adopted the Coat of Arms originally used by the former Rickmansworth Urban District Council, which was merged into Three Rivers District Council in 1974. The logo depicts references to William Penn, Merchant Taylors School and Rickmansworth School.

Thank you to all Batchworth residents who have signed up to receive a free waterbutt from BCC. Our office will be in touch once arrangements have been confirmed. Although this offer is now closed, please leave your contact details on the office e mail below, if you’d like to be contacted should we be able to reopen this offer at any time in the future.

All members of the public are very welcome to attend the Council’s Full Council, Planning and Finance Committee Meetings. Dates and agendas are listed on the Council’s website, with optional public participation sessions of 3 minutes per resident.
