Update on the Neighbourhood Plan

A series of eight Focus Group Meetings have now been held -all via Zoom. All meetings provided lively discussion from residents who attended and the results will be compiled by the Steering Group to identify the strategy and policies that should be adopted within the Plan. This process may establish that a further Focus Group meeting or two will be required for specific subjects after which this stage of public meeting consultations will be considered complete.  Further public consultation will be invited via the website and social media as draft versions of the Plan are progressed.

Members of the public are very welcome to attend the Council’s Full Council, Planning and Finance Committee Meetings. Dates and agendas are on the Council’s website, with public participation sessions of 3 minutes per resident. Meetings are currently held remotely via Zoom, with logins on  Batchworth Community Council’s website.
