Local Ricky News – June 2021

This month Batchworth Community Council features a spotlight on one of its newly appointed Councillors for the Rickmansworth Town ward.

 Councillor Steve Mander

‘I have lived in Rickmansworth for 20 years.  I retired in 2014 after 14 years as a project and capability manager with a major defence contractor. Before that I spent 31 years in the Royal Air Force, as a navigator and staff officer having flown Vulcans and Buccaneers.  I am currently Chairman of the Rickmansworth Town Team Community Interest Company which lays on events like the French Markets and Winter Fair. I am a Trustee of the Rickmansworth Waterways Trust which organises the Rickmansworth Festival and I am part of the Batchworth Neighbourhood Plan Steering Committee leading the Rickmansworth Focus Groups’.
