Local Ricky News – May 2021

An election is scheduled to be held on 6 May to contest the Ricky Town ward seat of a Batchworth Councillor who has resigned recently. The result will be posted on Batchworth Community Council’s website after 6 May, or, if it is uncontested, then as soon as possible after the closing date for applications, which is 8 April.

There are also 2 further Councillor vacancies for this ward, and 2 candidates will have been voted for, and subsequently co opted onto the Council at Batchworth’s Full Council Meeting on 12 April. The results will appear on the Batchworth website as soon as possible after that meeting.

There are signs that the daffodils, planted by Batchworth Community Council in the Autumn, are beginning to shoot and welcome in the Spring on Eastbury Rec.
