Local Ricky News – September 2022

Batchworth Community Council is pleased to announce the reopening of its free waterbutts offer to all households in Batchworth. This proved such a popular project that it was initially closed due to being oversubscribed. Watch out for an application form in the Home Page newsletter soon to arrive through your letter box, or please apply via our website when the offer is relaunched in the near future. One waterbutt per household.

Just a reminder that the monthly market, organised by BCC in Rickmansworth High Street is held on the last Sunday of every month, with the next one taking place on Sunday, 25 September, from 11 am-3pm. The number and range of stalls has increased hugely over the past few months, and there is something for everyone-especially if anyone is prompt off the mark with their gift shopping for Christmas. Stalls include food and drinks, French wines, candles, toys, jewellery and home made artisan products.

Members of the public are very welcome to attend the Council’s Full Council, Planning and Finance Committee Meetings. Dates and agendas are on the Council’s website, with optional public participation sessions of 3 minutes per resident.
