Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Community Art Competition

To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, BCC is launching an art competition. The theme is Queen and Community, and the competition is open to all in Batchworth. Paintings or drawings need to be A3 in size and all qualifying entrants will be displayed throughout our High Streets. The deadline for submissions is 14 May. The first 200 entrants will receive a £10 voucher to spend on our High Streets. First prize is a voucher for £100, again to spend locally.

Size must be A3 size 29.7cm x 42cm.

The first 200 entrants to qualify for the competition will receive a £10 voucher/credit note to spend in participating retailers on our high streets.

Winners will be announced on our website on the 6th of June. Please note all artwork will be photographed and used on our BCC Media to promote the event.

The Prizes are

  • First prize – £100
  • Second prize-£75
  • Third prize – £50.

Only once piece of artwork per person please although a second piece may be submitted by the entrant if they have contributed to a group piece of art.

The artwork will be displayed from Monday 23rd May until Monday 6th June in participating retailers shop windows.

Batchworth community council reserves the right to decide on qualifying entrants.  The judges’ decisions are final.
