Coronavirus – Community Support Grants Available

Batchworth Community Council welcomes the invaluable work of volunteers in supporting vulnerable members of our community at this challenging time and wishes to make funding available to voluntary organisations and small groups of volunteers to help their work. This could be reimbursing volunteers’ petrol costs, paying for essential groceries and household items for vulnerable households or other priority needs.

If you are an organisation that is helping the community (this includes informal groups that have come together to help tackle this crisis) then please consider asking us for some money. We will use our existing grants policy and application process to help us reach a decision but we will be as quick and as flexible as we can. We ask that you demonstrate how you are helping Batchworth residents (that’s people who live in Rickmansworth, Moor Park and Eastbury).

An application form may be found here (Word version) or here (PDF version)

And, our grants policy is here.

Please note that our office is closed and that all correspondence should be by email only with the Clerk (Louise Steele) at clerk@batchworth-ecc.gov.uk
