Rickmansworth Waterways Trust – Heritage Boat Experiences and Friday Cruises Making Summer Special

This summer Rickmansworth Waterways Trust are running Heritage Boat Experiences and Summer Cruises.

The two hour long event includes a guided tour of the historic site at Batchworth, a short talk about Roger, our historic wooden narrowboat and a visit to the boatman’s cabin. This is followed by a rare opportunity to enjoy an hour-long boat ride on Roger (unless raining, in which case it will be on our trip boat).

Dates: Sunday: 5 July, 2 August  Times: 10.30 am & 2.00 pm Cost: £20 a head, including refreshments

Friday Evening Cruises

Experience the evening peace and tranquillity of the canal with our popular Friday evening cruises

An hour long trip going up through Batchworth Lock and back. Book individually, or reserve a whole boat ( maximum of 12 passengers).

Enjoy tea, coffee, squash or biscuits on board, or bring your own drinks and snacks. Help with the lock, or just sit back and relax.

Dates: Fridays from 5 June to 21 August Times: 5.30 pm and 7.30 pm

Cost £10 a head, including refreshments (for a group booking of 9 or more the cost is £90)
